When folks go to a tax expert, they don’t look at reducing their taxes as a bonus. They expect the tax expert to save them tax money. When they go to a wine store, they don’t look at stocked shelves of wine as a bonus. They expect to find what they want. And when folks hire you to help them become financially independent, they don’t look at becoming financially independent as a bonus. They expect you to help them become financially independent. Making people financially independent is your basic value. That’s table stakes. That just gets you in the game. Thinking your basic value is enough to attract clients is a commodity trap.
