Soft skills are professional competencies.

Soft skills include common sense, the ability to deal with people, and a positive flexible attitude

They include the skills to act or speak appropriately in social situations. Synonyms include finesse, grace, and savvy.

They include the skills needed to get along with other people. Synonyms include people skills, interpersonal skills, and social skills.

They include empathy. Synonyms include thoughtfulness, compassion, and awareness.

Financial Advisors who possess these skills will surpass their competitors many times over. Yet, soft skills are in decline despite their importance.
